In partnership with Legal & General PLC and NatWest Pension Trustee Limited, with hugely ambitious (and very achievable) growth plans, we are seeking a Sous Chef on a full-time basis, to join our expanding team at Bramshott Place.

The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef on all kitchen activities, ensuring the menu is delicious and food is prepared and presented to the correct standards and quality.

The Role:

  • Creating and executing an exciting and appetising menu, which takes into consideration dietary requirements and allergens Managing the full food service
  • Helping manage the full food service from prep up to staff management
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
  • Providing support and instructing Kitchen Assistants in the correct food preparation techniques and best practice
  • Giving an outstanding customer experience to our residents and guests.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working as a Chef or Sous Chef in a busy kitchen
  • Qualified in Food Hygiene – minimum of Level 3 in Food Safety or equivalent
  • Excellent management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills and an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Be an enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable team player.

Our Service:

  • The Sous Chef will work on a full time, permanent basis, covering 37.5 hours a week; normally 8.00am until 4.00pm
  • Fortnightly themed evening meals will replace the usual lunch service on either a Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday evening; 6.00pm until 8.00pm.
