Tea on the Green

Tea on the Green is an independent restaurant in the heart of Exeter. The team are passionate about creating great food using local, free range produce brought to you with excellent table service. The restaurant is housed within a Sixteenth Century building overlooking Exeter’s historic Cathedral Green. Seats are arranged on two floors and an outside dining area by the green.

Open Monday to Saturday 8am – 6pm and Sundays 9am to 5pm. We serve breakfast all day, except on Sundays when we stop at midday and offer Sunday Roast for the rest of the day. Our extensive lunchtime menu is served through to closing time in the evening. Afternoon teas start at 2.30 offering the classic Devonshire cream tea
