I've been in the culinary industry since the age of 18, which makes it 28 years now. It's been a long but fascinating career with its fair share of ups and downs. Along the way, I've had the pleasure of meeting various intriguing characters. Before my culinary career, I served in the Army, an experience that provided me with valuable life lessons, responsibility, and discipline.
 

I started my career in the Army as an Apprentice Chef. After my rewarding time there, I joined Marsdons. Following a couple of years with them, I moved on to work for Mitchells & Butler, where I spent 24 years working with different brands and exploring various cooking styles. I had the opportunity to use exciting ingredients, leading to the creation of some fantastic dishes.

During my career, I also had the honour of representing The United Kingdom in a culinary competition held in the Czech Republic. Working both individually and as a team, we proudly brought home a silver medal.

Outside of work, I cherish family time, spending precious moments with my wife of 20 years and our two children, who are no longer kids but young adults now. One of the main reasons I was drawn to Inspired was the excellent work-life balance it offers, something I had never experienced before. It truly is fantastic!

Apart from my culinary pursuits, I enjoy traveling, playing golf (although I must admit I'm not very good at it), and supporting Everton Football Club (even if it's not something to boast about!).

Having only been with Inspired for 8 months, I eagerly look forward to many more years with the company, contributing to its growth and building upon the strong foundations already established, both within the company and in the Great Alne community.
