Inspired Villages is please to announce that Mid Sussex District Council has approved its plan to deliver a new retirement community at Site of the Former Hazeldens Nursery, London Road.

Detail planning permission was granted for all phases on 1st March 2023.
 

Timescales

Work is due to commence on the scheme in 2023 with Phase 1.

What makes our places special?

Well-being centre

A fully-equipped facility with a gym and fitness studio. The gym includes EGYM equipment, specifically designed for use by older persons. The wellbeing centre will be available on a membership basis to eligible residents within the wider community.

Communal Facilities

A shop, bookable workshops and click & collect facility will be available for residents and the wider community. It is intended to also make a café/bar and restaurant open to the public.

Transport Service

The village will provide a regular transport service for its residents as well as staff members travelling to and from work.
