Warwick Castle

With over 1,100 years of history, Warwick Castle is one of the UK’s most loved historic attractions. Visitors can enjoy a scenic stroll through the venue’s 64-acres of stunning gardens and grounds or indulge in an Afternoon Tea in The Conservatory Tea House while taking in the views from the Peacock Gardens. The Lord Leycester Hospital

One of the best-preserved examples of medieval courtyard architecture in England, the Lord Leycester Hospital is a historic group of 14th century timber-framed buildings on Warwick High Street. Visitors can take a tour of the complex and the garden, which has a 2,000-year-old stone urn from an Egyptian nilometer.

The Old Post Office

The Mill Garden

Created over a period of 60 years, the half-acre garden is famed for the quality of its planting in an unbelievable setting. On one side of the gardens is the river and the ruins of the medieval bridge. On the other side is Caesar’s Tower. The gardens can be found at the bottom of Mill Street.

Hatton Locks

Dating back to 1799, Hatton’s famous ‘stairway to heaven’ is a flight of 21 locks on the Grand Union Canal. Today, the locks are a beautiful excursion in the Warwickshire countryside, just a short walk from the city of Warwick. Visitors can walk, cycle, fish and canoe on the locks whilst taking in the breath-taking views.

Warwick High Street

A wealth of quality independent shops and restaurants are nestled amongst Warwick’s stunning historic buildings. A bustling hive of activity, Swan Street is the town’s main shopping street, while there is a cluster of more familiar high street name on Market Street.

Warwick Market Place

For centuries, this open-air urban space has been the centre of the town, taking on a number of functions including Warwick Retail Market, which takes place every Saturday and showcases around 60 traders.
