We’d love for you to join us on Monday 10th November, 10:30am–12:30pm, for our next Friends of Ampfield Meadows gathering — a special morning to mark Remembrance Day and honour our local history.
REMEMBRANCE DAY HISTORY TALK – “Some Events in Eastleigh During WWII”
We’re delighted to welcome Hazel Lankester from the Eastleigh and District Local History Society, who will be giving an illustrated talk titled “Some Events in Eastleigh During WWII.” Hazel will share fascinating stories of how wartime events shaped daily life in our area — from the experiences of local residents to the wider impact of national developments close to home.
There will be time afterwards for conversation, questions, and refreshments, making it a lovely opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with friends and neighbours.
