Please join us at Durrants Village for coffee and a light lunch with celebrity guest, head RHS judge Jim Buttress.

 

Jim Buttress, renowned horticulturist and head RHS judge, will be coming to Durrants Village to give a talk focusing on how to make the most of a patio garden, a beautiful container and a hanging basket.

 

Jim will be speaking about his life and experiences, and guests will have the opportunity to ask him their gardening questions.

 

Jim will also bring copies of his book, The People’s Gardener for guests to purchase on the day.

About Jim Buttress

Jim trained at RHS Wisley, and went on to manage numerous London parks and gardens including Hyde Park, St James’ Park, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich Park and Clarence House and has even enjoyed tea with the Queen Mother!

Jim has appeared on many gardening television programmes. He was watched by millions on the BBC’s The Big Allotment Challenge and has been a radio presenter and guest on BBC Radio Sussex, Surrey Dig it.
