Dirty Duck pub

The Dirty Duck is situated on the waterside of the river Avon in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon. It's a great post-theatre spot, the welcome is always friendly and the service good, even when the pub is full. There is a buzz after each show with everyone discussing what they have just seen, sometimes with the actors that were in the show.

A pub since 1738, but was known as The Black Swan since 1776. The new name originated from the American GIs that camped over the river in the Second World War.
