Our experienced team is responsible for developing entire communities – secure environments where people can enjoy and explore, be free and independent, yet receive tailored, flexible and supportive care all within the privacy of their own one- or two-bedroom apartment. Inspired Villages allows residents the flexibility to transfer between the different types of accommodation e.g. from the Independent Living Units to the Close Care Units, without the major and often distressing upheaval of physical relocation. By remaining in the same community there is a continuity of relationships, as well as care and support staff.

The Inspired Villages vision of creating distinctive and crucially ‘non-institutional’ environments requires architectural excellence. The design of the retirement village will carefully consider scale, massing and detailing of buildings. Inspired Villages’ retirement communities provide a domestic, homely environment, rather than institutional environment.

Together our target is to acquire a minimum of 8 sites for our retirement village pipeline per annum. Our purchases will range from unconditional land to those subject to planning. We also consider joint-venture opportunities as well as those part of larger mixed-use developments.

  • Proximity to transport links (bus stop, tram or train station) preferred
  • Proximity to local amenities (post office, convenience store, doctors surgery, cafes etc) preferred
  • £350+ psf local market sales values
  • Sites with an existing C2 or C3 permission a priority
