Ledian Gardens construction team praised for their “exceptional” safety measures

Kier Construction have received a fantastic Considerate Constructors Scheme score of 42/50 at their last audit for their work on Ledian Gardens, Inspired’s seventh village in Kent.

The report said: “Exceptional safety and emergency arrangements remain evident on this site with a positive safety culture being promoted by the management team. The coronavirus precautions noted are exceptional and additional welfare facilities have been installed to benefit the workforce and to ensure social distancing.”

Commenting on the news, Inspired Villages Construction Director Shaun Whelan said:

“Congratulations to Kier Construction for scoring a 42/50 on the Considerate Constructors Scheme audit for their work at our seventh village, Ledian Gardens. We look forward to being able to safely open phase 1 of Ledian Gardens later this year.”

Located next near Leeds Village in a picturesque part of Kent, Ledian Gardens will offer 116 one and two bedroom homes for over 65s with a village centre that includes a 17m swimming pool, gym, restaurant, bistro, bar and a village shop.
