On Tuesday 27th February, Austin Heath hosted an exclusive complimentary pop-up lunch with Paul Foster, award-winning Head Chef at Salt, Stratford-upon-Avon.
Residents and local foodies were invited to Austin Heath to enjoy the three-course menu, devised by acclaimed chef Paul Foster. Famed for using humble ingredients with a unique, gastronomic flair, the Inspired ‘Taste of Things to Come’ menu featured dishes such as; organic salmon with cauliflower pureé, pickled kholrabi and crispy rye bread and slow cooked beef with black truffled potatoes and a green herb sauce. Desserts included a dark chocolate tart, blood orange mousse and whipped mascarpone, as well as a variety of mouth-watering snacks and sweets.
As former Head Chef at Mallory Court in Leamington Spa and Sous Chef at Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms in Nottingham, Paul has extensive experience working in Michelin-starred and AA-rosette-accredited kitchens. His first solo venture – Salt, a fine-dining restaurant in Stratford-upon -Avon, opened in 2017.
Paul commented; “It was great to see the fantastic turn out at the ‘Taste of Things to Come’ event. The bespoke menu was very well received and it was lovely to hear such warm compliments from the guests. Austin Heath is a brilliant addition to the local community and it’s only set to get better and better. Watch this space!”
In the second phase of development, Austin Heath will be opening a high-quality restaurant which will focus on the ‘best of British’, as well as a wellness centre offering a spa, swimming pool and extensive gym facilities.
Regional Sales Manager, Rebecca Parker, comments: “I want to thank Paul and his team for serving an absolutely delicious lunch that truly gave everyone a taste of what’s to come at Inspired Austin Heath, here in Warwick. We can’t wait to expand our offer and continue providing unrivalled facilities for the later living community.”
